Dr Allin trained at the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia in medicine, surgery and anaesthesia . He entered practice in 1967 and has been in Port Perry at this office since 1969. He has been a Coroner since 1973 and an assistant Professor with the Department of Community and Family Medicine at U of T for 30 yrs. Dr Alllin’s practice now is limited to medicine, minor surgery, anaesthesia, pediatrics and coroners investigations.

Dr. Matthew Schurter's family medicine practice is at the Sunderland Medical Centre. He also provides Anesthetic and Emergency Room services at Lakeridge Health Port Perry. Patients seeing Dr. Schurter for preoperative anesthetic appointments are generally seen at the Medical Associates Building in Port Perry.
Dr. Schurter completed a BSc(Hon) in life sciences as well as medical school at Queen's University, residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa and residency in FP-Anesthesia at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Sudbury. After practicing as a locum in several towns in Ontario, he and his wife chose Port Perry as a permanent location.
