Preventative Care
Regular screening tests can significantly cut the risks of disease.... Speak to your family doctor about which preventative services are right for you.
Suggested schedules for preventative services:
Mammograms yearly for women over 50
Colorectal Screening by either Fecal Occult Blood Testing every 2 years or by Colonoscopy every 5 years for people over 50.
Pap smears every 1-2 years for sexually active women
Influenza Vaccines yearly for all patients
Visits with diabetics every 3-6 months to prevent complications of diabetes.
Childhood Immunizations completed by 30 months of age. See below for a complete schedule of recommended childhood immunizations.

Menjugate: Meningococcus
Note: For individuals with a private drug plan that covers menjugate vaccines, you can provide this vaccination earlier at 5 and 7 months.
